Finished with the chemo and radiation
Mom finished up her chemo and radiation this past Monday and had her tube/catheter for the chemo taken out of her chest yesterday. She is so glad to have that part behind her now. She got to take a REAL shower for the first time in 5 weeks this morning (because she couldn't get that catheter thing wet).

Thank you all for your prayers on her behalf.

Something as simple as a good refreshing shower! We should always be praising God for every pleasure He brings - such as, a good meal, a clear blue sky...the list could be endless! Why do we wait until we are deprived of these things before we appreciate them?

I am happy for your mom ( and you ). Enjoy her.... I sure miss my mom....

@wherever_we_go@xanga - well so far she's feeling good about it. She did so well during her treatment it surprised me... she even got a certificate for being a good patient LOL
Me? I'm hanging in there. A lot of stuff going on right now... But honestly I shouldn't complain because God is good. :o)

saw your dad at Walmart yesterday.... he said she's in really good spirits. I'm glad to hear that and I know that prayers are really helping!
