  • What really happened in the Middle East

This video below is a visual history lesson for those of you who are truly interested in what is happening in the Middle East, particularly between Israel and her enemies
It's not about land.  It's not about refugees.  It's not even about a Palestinian state.
The Middle East War is about the destruction of Israel.

A video that some may not have the courage to watch...

This is why giving away land does not work.   It's not what they really want.

It is amazing and horrifying video, showing the evil man is capable of, May this be ended.  Hopefully Israel will succeed in its latest push to end the threat.  I have rec'd it, and hope others will pass it on.  I have also put a link to this post on a weblog entry of my own.  I didn't realize it would link to your site.  If you want it removed please let me know., and I'll find out how to post the video w/o linking to your site.

I didn't click on the video, because I don't think we should fully support Israel. For one thing, they have many anti-Christian laws and screen Messianic Jews quite heavily who wish to move to the Holy Land.

@Lamb - Thank you for the links.

@Allen_Oz@xanga - I'm a Messianic Gentile with Messianic Jewish friends living in Israel, that doesn't stop me from supporting Israel. This isn't a new thing that believers can't share their faith in Israel as openly as we may think they should, remember the disciples after Jesus' assention to the right hand of God?  They didn't leave after that because they were persecuted by non-believing Jews.  They didn't leave because they were finally kicked out of any worshiping or sacraficing in the Temple.  They loved their bretheren and kept the faith.  You don't have to be afraid of the facts, you need to be informed, but that's a choice you have to make for yourself.   It's all in God's hands.

    Peace

Wow!  What a powerful video!  I know so very little about all of the conflict.  I think sometimes we take it for granted - like it is just part of life.  It shouldnt be.  This video makes my heart ache for all of the people (Arab and Jew) living in Isreal.

  • Allen_Oz@xanga

@Lamb - It's not facts I'm afraid of but the filter from which they come through. I don't believe horrowitz to be a reliable source of information for anything. You might want to read up on some other things he's said before posting something his group has done and call it "informative." I know your intentions are noble, but I the source of the video is less than noble in his.

I'm not saying Israel should be a punching bag, she's got every right to do what she's doing now. I just see no reason for us to be involved outside of trading with both sides.

@Allen_Oz@xanga - There is no unbiased news that I'm aware of, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and thanks for stopping by

Does it still count as an appreciated "rec" If, as your cousin, I tend to "rec" most of what you post, whether I agree with it or not, as it's generally very well-expressed....????

  • Someone@xanga

No doubt, a very powerful video and politically (almost) correct. Of course, the Middle East conflict as we know it did not start in 1922, nor in 1948 when Israel was reinstated. It started much earlier than that, in Biblical times, when the Israelites made their way into the promised land, and then lost it for 2000 years. This was is not just about the destruction of the Jews, as portrayed in the video. This is a religious war, entrenched in thousands of years of conflict. For Jews and Christians, it is the fulfilment of the prophecies of Daniel. The creation of the borders by the US and Europe have made things more difficult and complicated and have undoubtedly inflamed the conflict. It is true, more people should be aware of this war. However, this video is unfortunately very one sided and, frankly, historically useless.

  • Lamb

@Someone@xanga - well you are entitled to your opinion as to whether or not it is useless historically.   But like I pointed out in a comment above (with links) it's easily verifiable.    But if you wish to disagree, go right ahead because  I have no use for shoving fact or opinion down someones throat.

  • Lamb

    @EdwardHancockII@xanga - your recmd's are always appreciated

  • Someone@xanga

@Lamb - I think you misunderstand. I am not disagreeing with the point of view portrayed in the video, I just don't see the point in a historical listing of facts that dates back to 1922, when the conflict is much older than that.
